Mojo-Sherrill 16U captured the lead, 4-1, in the bottom of the first after Kyla Hamby doubled, Reese Poole doubled, Maddy Steele singled, and Kinzie Ivey singled, each scoring one run.
Ivey stepped in the circle first for Mojo-Sherrill 16U. The hurler gave up two hits and zero runs over one-third of an inning, striking out none and walking none. Eleanor Brummond pitched two and two-thirds innings of scoreless ball for Mojo-Sherrill 16U in relief. The reliever gave up two hits, striking out three and walking none.
Hamby went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Mojo-Sherrill 16U in hits. Poole, Steele, Ivey, and Hamby each drove in one run for Mojo-Sherrill 16U.
